In her first two appearances at the plate, Gurley sent balls flying over the center-field fence at Copper Mountain Park, smacking a two-run shot in the first inning and a solo blast to lead off the third. Her offensive outburst - which came on the heels of a pair of homers against Livingston on Friday - helped stake Corvallis to a 5-0 lead. Gurley finished 2-for-4 with three RBIs while teammate Brianna Brawley also homered, a three-run shot in the top of the fifth. Kasie Conder struck out seven in four innings of work.
