Bigfork, Polson & Whitefish Do Well At Volleyball Tipoff Tourney

RONAN - The Anaconda Copperheads took the championship hardware home Saturday from the two-day Ronan Tipoff volleyball tournament that included schools from Northwestern A and Southwestern A.

After defeating Bigfork 21-19, 21-16 and Frenchtown 21-17, 21-9 in the championship bracket, the Copperheads downed Southwestern A rival Dillon in the title contest 21-13, 19-21, 18-16.

The Beavers reached the championship match with victories over Whitefish and Polson.
