But Ronan (1-1) got on the board in the third on a 61-yard scoring scamper by quarterback Mike Fisher, who finished with 130 yards on 16 rushes. On defense, Fisher had 11 tackles.

The Chiefs took the lead with eight minutes left on an 11-yard run by Tyson Noyes followed by a reception by Micky Cheff for the two-point conversion.

After a Paul Donaldson TD plunge and a successful two-point run by Anderson, Hamilton had two solid chances to pull ahead. But on its second-to-last possession, the Broncs fumbled on the Ronan 1-yard line and threw an incomplete pass on fourth down at the Chiefs' 20 on their final drive.
