State A golf meet shortened

WHITEFISH - The Class A state golf tournament at Whitefish Lake Golf Club has been reduced to a 27-hole event, ending today.
Monday's play did not begin until 1:30 p.m. because of cold weather and frost conditions on the course. Players were called off the course at 6:10 p.m. because of darkness.
Most foursomes completed either 14 or 15 holes. Results from Monday's round were not available.
Tournament play, weather permitting, is scheduled to resume at noon today.
