POLSON BOYS AND GIRLS WIN LIBBY TOURNEY

Libby Invitational At Libby, Natalia Arlint of Polson won the girls' title and Libby's Zach Watson was the boys' medalist at the Cabinet View Country Club. Arlint shot a 93 to win by four strokes over teammate Amy Williamson. Alex Dulmes from Ronan and Polson's Tammy Heftveld tied for third at 104 and Browning's Angie Ironpipe was fifth with a 111. Polson fielded the only complete girls' team. Watson's 77 edged Tanner Lineberry of Columbia Falls by a stroke. Cody Fischer of Polson followed with a 79, while Pirate teammates Kole Cordier and Tyler Schiff tied for fourth with rounds of 82. Polson won the team title with a combined score of 331 to best the Whitefish JV by seven strokes. Columbia Falls (354), Libby (363) and Ronan (400) followed. Girls Team score: Polson 410.
